LexiLayers is a browser-based game that runs on a wide range of devices. Here's what you need to know to get the best experience.

Best Experience: Desktop & Laptop

LexiLayers is designed and optimized for desktop and laptop computers. Playing on a larger screen gives you the most comfortable view of the board, sharper tile details, and the easiest controls. If you have the choice, a computer with a modern browser is the way to go.

Supported: Tablets & Mobile

LexiLayers fully supports tablets and smartphones. The game automatically adapts its layout to fit your screen. A few things to keep in mind on mobile devices:

Board and tile sizes adjust to your screen — smaller screens mean smaller tiles
Some UI elements may look slightly different across devices and screen sizes
Portrait orientation is recommended on phones and tablets

Tip: On Android devices, you can install LexiLayers as an app from your browser menu (look for "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App"). This gives you a fullscreen experience without the browser toolbar, and the game will load faster!

Safari (Mac/iOS)	Supported — some features like fullscreen may be limited on iOS
Samsung Internet	Supported

Please make sure your browser is up to date for the best experience. LexiLayers requires JavaScript to be enabled.

Known Limitations

iOS devices: The fullscreen button is hidden on iOS since Safari does not support the Fullscreen API. The game still works great in normal browser view or as a home screen app.
Very small screens: Devices with screens smaller than 4 inches may have a cramped playing experience.
Older browsers: Internet Explorer is not supported. Very outdated browser versions may have issues.

We're constantly working to improve compatibility across devices. If you're experiencing issues on a specific device or browser, please let us know! Use the Report a Bug option in the menu and include:

Your device make and model (e.g., iPhone 15, Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+)
Your browser name and version
A description of the issue and when it occurs
A screenshot if possible
